ELITE FITNESS BELLEVUE & THE AUSTIN FOUNDATION TEAM UP FOR
TRAIN THE TRAINER
- A FIGHT AGAINST JUVENILE OBESITY IN SEATTLE

The night of January 24, 2008 at Elite Fitness Training in Bellevue is one to remember. Not only were 10 Elite Fitness personal trainers and the Austin Foundation's very own, Willie Austin, put to the test for their strength and endurance, but $23,000 was raised to benefit the Austin Foundation.

Over 150 Elite Fitness clients participated in their first annual Train the Trainer. The way it worked was that clients were able to "pay back" their personal trainers by making them work out in a no-holds-barred event. And for that opportunity, they donated $50 per five-minute block of time to the Austin Foundation. Two Austin Foundation youth, Julio Moreno and Alpha Diallo were also there to lead the warm-up stretch and root the trainers on.

Voted Best Personal Trainers for 2007 by citysearch.com, Elite Fitness Training in downtown Bellevue had a goal of raising $10,000 for the Austin Foundation. But by the end of the night, the total raised was $17,000! Since then several of their clients have also donated above and beyond the event.

The Austin Foundation would like to extend a very big thanks to Elite Fitness, including Dave Johnson, Alex Wasserman, Lacey, all their trainers and of course, their kind and generous clients!
